Default E's 2016 Silver Rwd IS 350 F Sport build

Hello fellow Lexus members. I am starting my build thread for my 2016 Lexus IS 350 F Sport Rwd. I will post pics along the way. At this time I have already installed the F Sport Intake and exhaust. I have also just finished upgrading the wheels. I decided to keep to go with the 19” F Sport Forged wheels. Super happy with the look and the overall weight reduction they provided. They are matted with the legendary Continental Contact Extreme DW’s. I will be selling the original 18” OEM F Sport wheels and Bridgestone Turanza tires, so if you’re interested you can pm me.

Current Mods

15% Llumar QTC window tint
F Sport Intake
F Sport Exhaust
F Sport 19” Forged Wheels 19x8, 19x9 40 offset
RS*R half downs
Painted front calipers and F Sport decals
EBC redstuff ceramic brake pads front and rear

Future Mods

10mm spacers for the front
EBC slotted rotors or Stop Tech drilled front
Carbon Creations rear diffuser
Seibon carbon fiber rear spoiler
LED front door courtesy lights

Is the F Sport Exhaust something that automatically comes with F Sports or is it something extra that you have to get a dealership to install? I looked on the Lexus IS Accessories page and didn't see anything about the exhaust on there. Edit: Just saw that yours is a 2016, I have a 2014. Might just make a thread about this somewhere on here.

No worries, the F Sport exhaust does not come as part of the F Sport package on any year. It is an accessory option, just like the intake, springs, etc. call your local dealer they will quote it for you.

Looking to find out if anyone with F Sport exhaust and Intake ever hears, what sounds like, a back-fire when you slow down or are coming to a stop?

Running Continental Extreme Contact DW in 275/40 ZR19 in the rear and 235/35 ZR 19 in the front. This tire has been replaced by the new DWS 06 which is simply one of the best tires made on the planet for the money (check on the reviews on Tire Rack). Great balance between performance cost and tread life. The new tire has a 540 tread wear rating!!!!! When I replace rears I will probably drop a size to either 255 or 265. Under normal driving no rubbing at all but when people in the back it does a little under hard turning. That has to do with the with and overall profile of tire width vs height. The 255 would fix the issue for sure. Hope that helps.
