Yes. TPMS has been required in the US for several years.

Perhaps not a feature but no timing belt and a chain instead! I never looked forward to the 90k service!

My favorite is the Radio "Pause, Rewind" feature.
From having DirecTv and it's recorders I have learned to not listen closely as I can hit rewind if I feel I need to hear it again.
So I will miss a lot of things when I am listening to the radio. No More!

I discovered the secret change compartment because of this thread, but I hate keeping change in my car and I found that the compartment is a perfect size for an extra watch. For me, it is a spare watch compartment!

Coming from a BMW.. features I love in the GS not available in the BMW.

1. Mark Levinson. Amazing quality for someone who likes his music loud
2. Notification of windows / sunroof open.
3. Interior Ambient lighting.
4. Gauge Cluster is lot more pleasant and less busy
5. Love love love the soft closing of the windows.
6. Speaking of windows, dual-pane windows ftw. car is super quiet.
7. Love the shade of Platinum Silver. It's what sold the car.
8. 110v Outlet in the rear.
9. EV mode.

Hate:
1. As LexusLexi mentioned, why can't you go from Tilt to Open in one press?
2. Puddle light bulbs are so dim, they are just show and no functionality. I know there is a diy to put in LEDs but not too keen on opening the mirrors up.
3. Speaking of mirrors, the auto-dimming is **** if you have the rear shade up. BMWs worked amazing with tint and shade up. what is lexus missing?
4. Only 1 USB port. and only one power outlet.
5. My GS-h has 235 series tires.. wtf. It's not a go-kart.
6. The memory seats don't adjust till you start the car. In the BMW, they would start to adjust as soon as you unlock the car so by the time you get there, it's to your setting.
7. That Camry like dash quality.

When driving in automatic, in either of the 3 modes, if you tap the paddle shifters the car will momentarily go into manual mode and then in a few seconds switch back into automatic. This helps if you want to downshift for a quick maneuver on the highway or for a hard turn but want to keep in somewhat of a high gear compared to what the auto would do.

I used to use the paddle shifters on my IS350 a lot on the highway to hold the gears and help when overtaking, but you would first have to put the transmission in manual mode to use the paddles. Don't need them as much on the GS due to the "Sport/Sport+" modes holding the gears well. Anyway, I though this was really cool that the engineers thought of this small feature that can be quite useful. Once I get used to my GS I will probably be using the paddle shifters more.

- walk up to the car and it unlocks automatically.
- heated steering wheel!!! Love this simple feature.
- front seats.
- liquid silver color gets lots of admiring looks. classy.

Dislike:
- center hump takes up a lot of room on the inside.

I'm so happy with my 2013 Lexus GS 350 AWD.

How did you just now discover this? But yes, this is definitely a great feature to have!

lol! Only joking. I believe you meant heated/cooled front seats, which definitely is a nice feature to have.

I was driving yesterday around and it was really nice out and I had the windows down. I started feeling the heated seats come on probably the max setting and I couldn't figure out what was going on. I pulled over a few miles down the road because I thought something was wrong. Did some googling and apparently the heated seats come on with the auto climate setting which I didn't even know was set. I also couldn't figure out how to turn off a gas station guidance I set with my voice for the life of me, it kept telling me to right turn when I was driving and trying to turn it off. Guess I should be reading more in the manual.

- Love my USB 2.0 color
- Heated/cooling seats
- The surround sound
- LED lights all around
- The POWER of the car!
- BSM
- rear sunshade
- auto trunk open and close

Dislikes:
- No support in lumbar
- When I roll up or down the window it leaves a nasty streak mark (My civic opens up more so the water doesnt leave streak marks!)
- I HATE washing the car due to the color! UGH LOL
- rear view camera sucks at certain angles, especially when it rains and the camera looks like fish eyes on the screen

either than that I LOVE my car!
