Default APEXi Throttle Controller install

AWESOME build man! Got a couple of questions on the APEXi Throttle Controller: did you splice in the GRAY wire to the reverse light wire in the factory wiring harness? After all this time driving with it, how do you like it?

Thanks for your time!

Hey thanks!
I did not wire the reverse wire. No issues at all when backing up, The controller is awesome!! I always drive the car with it on, as soon as the engine is warmed up of course.

Cool man! Thanks for the response on the reverse wire. That totaly makes it a "plug n play" mod. Appreciate it! Also, thanks for the feedback on the controller. Can't wait to install mine. Looking forward to seeing more of your mods!
Later man...

Thanks guys!
quick update on the skipper cf front spoiler and sides, these items arrived in LA mid September and cleared customs. Shipped on the 28th of September and never made their assigned destination. Needless to say, I'm still hoping that they will turn up but a claim has been filed. Nothing to do with my source in Japan. Sucks!!

So, this is "take 2" for the CF skipper parts!
The previous shipment was lost. Insurance took care of it and got another set due for delivery tomorrow!

Woot! Front and sides from Skipper arrived safely!

This is just a mock up. I will probably install them in the next day or so. Perfect fit as expected. Very subtle looking like I wanted.

are the skipper parts clear coated ? Or just gel coated ?
assume you're gonna clear them yourself before install ?
you going to sand off the gel coat or spray on top?

Thanks! They are already clearcoated. But I might scuff em lightly and spray a couple;e or so thick coats more. Although I plan to have them XPEL protected so maybe I'll just install them as is.

Don't mind the Scalarworks sticker on where the badge should be

Congrats on finally getting the new parts! Can't wait to see all mounted.

The one thing I didn't like is the "Skipper" name badge embedded or on the parts but love the way the parts fit/look. Is it an option to not install when you received the parts or are you just covering them?
