These are the dyno results of the VRTuned piggyback on setting 6 (RED) in comparison to Stock (BLUE) both on 91 octane. As we can see the peak numbers were not drastically improved but the overall powerband gained HP and TQ at certain RPM's especially at 5750 where there was a 24.95 WHP and 22.6 WTQ gain. Thanks to Anthony for getting this done.
Nice. Making more power longer is better than simply peak #s. Also relative gains are important vs. absolute #s. All good stuff. Glad to see tuning coming alive. I hope something comes along to make this car interesting enough to keep. Or else I'll just get something better next time.
Interesting how we don't get more than 30% throttle until 4k RPM. How exactly was this verified? Do we have a map/table from the dyno showing this? Maybe that's why our cars are dogs off the line.
However, any 200T owners try brake torquing? Takes a while for the turbo to build up pressure while standing on the brake, but the car launches very hard when you do. Only thing sucks is that it trips traction control... and if you turn TRAC OFF, the "TRAC OFF" indicator blocks the boost gauge. So you can't simultaneously build up max PSI and launch at he right moment. You have to guestimate where the turbo is. I'd rather not subject the tranny to all that boost for longer than I'd have to so I hate not knowing where my boost is. I've only done it like three times though. And the car takes off MUCH differently.

Matt from OVTuned has all the ECU tables and is working on it. Unfortunately, you'll have to take my word for it as he only showed me on his laptop that the ECU limits you to 30% throttle; I suspect he'll have a blog post up about it soon. The only "evidence" of it at the moment is in the HP/TQ graph (2nd photo), you see the blue line jump above 260TQ before the ECU cuts power to create a flat torque curve.
To answer your question, I have tried launching my car for fun, but it's not realistic to do so at every stop.
The 30% throttle sounds about right since I am seeing a few companies coming out with a throttle response device. Apexi has the Smart Accel and Blitz came out with a power thro throttle control.
Guys yesterday i went and i did a couple dyno pulls with the VR racing Tuning box, I have an Injen Intake (Loud af) and a muffler delete. I dynoed without the tune, with the Tune in Setting 6 and then In setting 9. And here are the results. if you want you can contact me through Instagram if you have questions. @danlmt1092
Looking forward to get a downpipe, the car feels way torquier i was running 93 octane and the temperature was 73 f ,On a Dyno Jet the tuner told me that usually he is been told that his dyno reads low so i think is very accurate.
This has me really interested!! Is this a burger tune, jb4? I just ordered the vrtuned piggy back 2 days ago, I kinda wish I would've waited after seeing this!
Took my car to the dyno today and was pretty impressed with the numbers. All i have is a Burger Tuning intake
I had a slight issue with the new tuning system so i am working on getting that fixed and then i will have i tested again.
