I ordered on 1/11 and received on 1/23. I don't think I'll use the coin holder because every time I brake/accelerate, the coins make sounds.

I keep a small 6" x 6" microfiber (folded up) towel in the coin holder to keep the coins from making noise, and to make the towel available to me if I need it.

Is there something to cover the area i have highlighted in red? Trying to hide that cheap-ish plastic

Oh sorry, I thought he was talking about the small OE coin/change compartment on the left-hand side of the dash.

Just received mine today and it is pretty damn handy. Fits pretty well. Will report if I hear any rattles from it but I highly doubt there will be any

Sorry, I was talking about the tray I bought from Aliexpress for $16. I was wondering how you put a cloth in those coin slots

Mine arrived this week and I put it in last evening. This morning, my change made some noise. Let us know if you figure out a solution for the change sections.

Well, I wasn't going to give up on the sunglass holder because I am stubborn, like to tinker, and think it's a good idea. So, for those of you that can relate to my situation here's what I did...

Since the mounting hold didn't line up (the sunglass holder was narrower), I just mounted the holder to the frame rail. This left two gaping holes where the handle was originally located. A trimmed piece of plastic and $0.75 worth of gray fabric did the trick. I'm not sure if it's a long-term keeper, but it sure has been convenient to just place my sunglasses in this holder!

I should also note, that things look much more conspicuous since I have a bright light on the area for the pictures. I seriously doubt if anyone would notice the extra trim piece on their own.

This is what I had in mind. Where did you get this holder?

From Amazon ;Hawk Black Sunglasses Case With Self-adhesive Back For Auto: TA-07850

except in the pictures I think they have the glasses in backwards. I put the glass in the case and the arms outside. I put anti rattle tape on it, makes no noise
