Yes, but you really don't have to pull the cover all the way off, just partially. Not hard at all, just try it!

Im 100% happy with my red TRD push/start button! Best $140 or so I've spent on the F! Matches my red interior perfectly.
But for those of you with the white or orange or blue interior, those would be pretty cool! Install takes about 60 secs, literally.

I like the neon TRD letters, Are all the TRD start buttons look like that?
Where can I get it for $140?

Just a personal thing. We don't drive Toyotas, why would you want to put a TRD product in a Lexus I will be going with the one I posted in my Post #1 - In Blue

Group buy is supposed to start tomorrow.

Oh, and rather than say T-R-D pronounce it as a word trd, sort of sounds like - well you know With a u after the t

Lou

I will be getting either of these two 2. Hopefully they offer the 2nd one.

Those 2 blue ones look nice, for sure! but definitely nothing wrong with TRD either lol. Last I checked our cars have Toyota written all over hundreds, if not thousands of parts. Adding one more won't hurt a thing!
But with that said, I'd probably buy a red one like the blue ones you posted if they're available and not over priced (and the fitment is correct/perfect like this TRD one).

Are you for real?

So acuras with Honda badges are wrong too? Why did 1st Gen IS300 had Toyota Altezza badges?

Your ignorance knows no bounds, it's ok if you're trying to sell a PB but dont bash on ORIGINS... I hope you dont ROCK ANY TOM'S Items.. seeing as they're made for TOYOTAS

Thanks - I luv you too But, I'll refrain from name calling.

And Yep, Toyota is the parent company, but we drive a Lexus, not a Toyota. And, I'm not trying to sell anything. Just thought you guys might be interested in something for an F model Lexus. How would you feel if someone put that button on a lessor car like an F Sport or God Forbid - A Camry

Also, most most of my post was in jest. Sorry if I hurt your feelings

The thought of the first/second gen Toyota Aristo and Lexus GS being the "same" car must keep you up at nights.

There are two different TRD part numbers. What is the difference?
Which one is the perfect fit?

MS422-00001
MS422-00003

Really it's up to the individual, but putting a Toyota start button or oil cap doesn't seem that bad since the car is made by Toyota. I remember seeing a Scion FRS/Toyota 86 with Lexus emblems and it seemed wrong because it was trying to be something it's not. Lexus is a Toyota, Toyota is not a Lexus.

You want to get the MS422-00001 button, mine fits perfectly and only took 5 minutes to install.

Best price I could find (1/29/17)...http://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-TRD-Engine-Push-Start-Ignition-Button-engine-start-/192084297890?hash=item2cb91dc8a2:g:IhYAAOSwImRYgq~l&vxp=mtr

These are the differences...

Has anyone done this to their F yet? I got mine and I started looking at the button on how to replace the cap and I can't figure it out. The assembly is pretty closed off, I was able to slide the cover off exposing the circuit board, popped the circuit board up, but then got scare that someone would break, so I put it back.
