It took me less than an hour using just a couple of hand tools and the jack from the car Steve, you can totally do this!

My main problem is I don't have a ton of space, I have a one car garage and with the LS in there it's really tight.

Fair enough, just know it's possible with some time and patience. I hope this helps others contemplating the change too.

Just got my Osram CBI's installed today! Definitely a whiter, truer light on the road. Like the Doc said, not a huge difference. I'm going to run them on for a while to let them burn in and will report back. Did you notice more of a difference once you let them burn in Doc?

My OEM bulbs were Osram Xenarc's too. I saved them in case I ever needed them.

$90 for my guy to do the install, worth it IMHO.

Steve, it would be nice to see before and after pics with the headlights on.

I just purchased the Osram Xenarc Original (as opposed to CBI) 5000k bulbs (came in the mail today). Itching to put them in now.

Perhaps referring to me? I did them red with white logos. I agree...black looks nice too.

Sorry, Chris, my bad! I was too lazy to search the threads. Here's the one started by SweetLS, and you commented there also. In fact, it looks like Dr. J painted his calipers based on this thread. Did you use a stencil to paint the Lexus logo?

This looks like a very doable mod. I should give my painter Brad a call. After the beautiful work he did painting my grille, this should be pretty easy.

No worries! I wasn't the only one who painted them red. If I had silver wheels, I would have gone black. But with black wheels, I find the red to be a nice contrast. Not for everyone's taste though.

Looks great! The new bulb (passenger light) seems bluer (whiter) than the OEM. Looks like you have the high beams on. The difference may be more noticeable with low beams. Did you change both bulbs or just the outer one?

The 5000k Xenarc is definitely whiter than OEM Xeneco 4300k. I only changed 1 - probably not the best idea to start working on your car at 9 pm . I'll do the other one tomorrow. The high beams are actually off. Little drizzle + nighttime - not the ideal conditions to take good pictures.
