Interior door panel deteriorating
The vinyl insert on the drivers side internal door panel just above the arm rest is starting to ripple. Looks like effected by moisture? Any suggestions.

The same thing happened to my driver door. I have the vinyl insert on the door. I don't know if the same thing happens to the leather inset in some models. The leather insert can be identified by stitching running the length of the door. I saw on eBay you can buy leather pieces to fit over it but you have to actually apply it to the existing panel and tuck the edges yourself.
I am thinking of getting some alcantera or leather and just covering all the door panels myself. With just some fabric spray adhesive it would be quite easy to do once the door panels are disassembled.
If you want to keep the stock look, it may be cheapest to just buy an entire door panel on eBay. They are only about $150 in some cases. First see how much Lexus would charge for an OEM insert though.
