Default RCF rear seat removal

So I did a search but have not found a thread to tell me how to remove the back seat. Any DIYer out there having removed the back seat from their RCF car to dhare a How To?

The general consensus seems to be that there's no real need if it's for weight savings since the seats are "wire mesh and foam".
@rmsimmonsj has done it though so hit him up.

If you're going for extra sound system whole 'nother story.

I pulled mine when covering the rear center rest with alcantara. Just lift up and out on the front of the seat.

Be careful not to use too much force when pulling up. You can break the white clips, but if you do they are easily replaceable. The white clips are attached to the metal brackets you see in the pic above located in the forward part of bench. Just pull up there gently

Wow it's ugly as **** under there. I'm more interested in pulling out the back of the seat...leaving the bottom. How does the bench back come out?

if you look closely at the hump in the middle at the bottom of the seat back, you'll see the bolts

If you're looking to remove the seat for weight, pull both bottom and back, then make an aluminum cover. This could be covered in material or anodized in any color you like. A local race car shop should be able to help you out.
