Silly question how do I know my IS350 is rwd not awd?
besides the rear awd emblem, is there anywhere else I can see for sure my 2017 IS350 f sport is rwd instead of awd? I would think it's on the window sticker but it's not.

Go to manual mode and see how many gears you have. 8 for rwd, 6 for awd
Look at the back of your trunk if you don't see 3 letters A.W.D then yours is RWD , if yours AWD the trunk emblem will be " AWD IS350 " to my eyes the RWD sit a little lower than the AWD especially the Rear wheel Gap.
OR. Look on the driver's floor on right side.. If there is a hump that sticks out, it means you got AWD.
Best way to tell. BTW that hump flat out sucks *** and I'd never buy an AWD Lexus sedan because of that damn hump. The hump forces my leg leftward, and makes my foot bend at an awkward angle to hit the gas pedal. The ball of my foot can't rest right below the gas pedal, instead my foot is cocked at like a 30 or 45 degree angle to hit the gas. Its just a ****ing horrible design, especially for a car focused on luxury and comfort. I can deal with such nonsense on a "fun" or "weekend" car I don't drive every day. Making me uncomfortable on a daily basis, yeah that basically makes any AWD Lexus sedan a no buy.

Odd, the only others I have ever seen complain about this are auto journalists. I actually don't even touch the hump when I drive since I am pressing it against either gas or brake (barring cruise control naturally). Off-topic, but yeah. I sometimes wish I got the RWD IS for other reasons, but the AWD security in Midwest winters is worth a little weirdness IMO.

I agree 100% I don't really notice the hump on my car in fact I rest my leg/calf on this while cruising the highway Like you stated the added confidence while driving in winter more than makes up for it
About the AWD hump, I drove an IS300 for a day, and I did not notice the hump until I looked down. THEN, I was like sht, now I feel weird lmao
But, don't let this flaw in design push you away from AWD Lexus. Their SUVS (AWD) are great, but sedans are meh. I'm not sure if they have AWD GS; this may be more comfortable because its a larger car. I think only the IS is the only sedan optioned with AWD? Or maybe the LS has it too?
