Default Centric premium rotors and akebono brake pads

If my two front brake pads and rotors need to be replaced, should i just go ahead and replace all four pads and rotors since im at it? Im About to purchase pads and rotors for all four on rockauto for 254$ shipped and plan to have lexus install the parts for me and charge me labor for it. Thats the route im planning to do since lexus quoted me 400$ for just the front rotors(parts, labor and tax)

has anyone have any experience with rockauto?

can someone confirm the part numbers for the rotors and pads for me? I plan to get centric premium rotors along with akebono brake pads

and by the way my car has about 43k mikes

Check autozone.com, it has the diameters for all the rotors. I see no reason Rockauto would be wrong. as long as you have IS350 in there. You can also search ebay for OE Lexus parts, and they'll usually have the part# you can cross-reference

personally i'd avoid generic/lower brand rotors. find Brembo, or a German OEM supplier such as ATE, Textar, etc.

Depending upon what type of IS you have, see below. This is from the Centric site. You need to confirm if this is correct for your car/year, but I have a 2015 IS350 F-sport and used the 125.44137/8 rotors...bought on Amazon. I got the ACT1118 fronts as well. Non-F sport has a different model - and looks to be what you listed in your post.

Also, isn't the price you quoted only for the front rotors, and 4 pads? Because it's $140-50 alone for just the two front rotors. Your pads are another $92...totaling to about $230-50. Rear rotors will be an additional cost. I haven't done the rears yet as they are still good after 2 yrs. Fronts were hosed after a year.

Rockauto is legit and usually have the best prices for Centric rotors. I ordered my Centric rotors there and have Akebono pads too. It's a solid setup. Centric is a very well known and respected brand. Definitely not a lower tier.

Use code - 5746561351251401 during checkout and get 5% off. Look at the youtube clip below to see where to input the code.

So i called lexus and they said i cant bring in parts for them to install unless its lexus oem parts. Going to bring in my car to lexus anyways and have them inspect the brakes which im sure is the rotors and go from there. I also will have them look into the recall on the rear wheel arch corrosion on this model.

Centric makes good stuff, solid choice. The last time I did a Lexus brake job (my previous IS), I used Centric rotors and OEM pads. Same thing from the dealership, the price for a brake job was insane.

Changing the brakes and rotors on these cars is super easy. OP, don't replace the rear brakes unless you have to. There's no reason; they might last until your next front brake job and do all 4 at that time.

I bought mine from AutoAnything.com. The part numbers I purchased for my '15 IS 250 FSport are 125.44125. These are high carbon. Less prone to warping. Paid $44.

I need 2 back rotors for my 2014 IS350 Sedan F-Sport. Will it fit, the cheaper Centric 120.44141 for Convertibles $52.79? I read the back rotors are the same for all IS350 and the Centric 120-44189 Sedan cost $68.79
