Saw this news today....beside the new front end (New LED and grill)..nothing much. This is what I guess (wish)
-refresh interior with larger screen (maybe the 10+" from the new IS) since 7" is small these days
-Tuned the 2.0L I-4 to make about 250-255 hp (rumors that the one of the base engine for the new Supra will be 2.0L Turbo I-4 with 255 hp)
-New FSport wheels design, the new wheels on Base 2017 are new so next would be the FSport
-ALL latest safety features

very excited to see what it looks like, i hope they decide for the f-sport model to put in the LFA inspired gauge like the IS, RC, GS, and RX f-sports. maybe ventilated seats on the f-sport model too??

Hope that light will be in the U.S
Always liking the NX! however after we know the 2017 IS triple LED light didn't even come to the U.S. The U.S version of 2017 IS F Sport front headlight looks very different than what they have in Japan. Hope those LED light will actually come to the U.S for the new NX.

I've been waiting for this. This is why we didn't buy an NX last year. We knew the refresh was coming up. I am hoping for a bigger screen, panoramic/multiview camera, and slightly better front dash area. I don't like the temperature readouts on the current NX (guess i could get used to them, but they just seem outdated and difficult to read). Other than that, i think i can live with the rest of the little nuances.

Actual production of 2018 models won't start until after the production of the 2017s is stopped, and that likely won't be until some time during the late spring or summer. A good guess as to when the 2018s would start to show up at dealers would be September, and the first ones that do show up at dealers are likely to be in limited configurations.
Further, if you special order a 2018, you might be lucky to see your vehicle by the first of the year because building special order vehicles is likely to be a low priority at the factory.

No. In fact any 2018 NXs that is displayed at that show or that you see early pictures of won't even be production models. Instead, they will be a pre-production prototypes.

I have special ordered before and that car was and has been perfect in every respect. I think they get better attention honestly. the car I special ordered was a 2001 and I still own it and still not 1 rattle or maintenance brake down...amazing or lucky, but Im for special orders if you can wait.
