2002 GS430... Early mid life crisis?

The rear factory air ride , seems to be the only thing he miss lead me on, I can kinda tell a difference in the shift points and the idle is super low to the point it's tried to die on me after ideling for awhile on trips, so I do think is has some sort of tune, but I wouldn't know the difference cause iv never been in a stock one tbh.
Headers are definitely on my future to do list. I ordered an iNjen intake system and some rear adjustable toe arms cause my toe is maxed in the rear and needs to come in before I wear these tires out. I'd love to put some different gears or a diff all together I need to do some more reaserch on it.
What kind of bs lines was the owner feeding you about this? Same thing as it having factory rear air, just making stuff up that sounds good I assume...
Otherwise at least you've cleaned that car up alot. And if the prices of figs or not going extremely low then stick with Moog or OEM replacement parts for the suspension bits you need and you'll be in good shape.
430's are fun, you'll enjoy it. But adding headers, srt intake, and an LSD will make the car considerably more responsive, if you are ok to sacrifice a little mpg's for quicker accel you can do the 3.76 v300 aristo or 3.93 gs300 rear gears along with the lsd and it will really wake the car up.

Cold air intake installed, no difference in throttle response IMO, but my goal was more for mpg. I was averaging 19.5 mix of city and highway. Now I'm getting 21.5 so I feel this was a good "mod" car runs better also doesn't try to die on me anymore at idle after driving long distances.

Curious to know your thoughts of the ride quality difference between OEM and the DF210s? What shocks did you use?

Re sanded and polished the headlights to
Little up date, traded off the gold wheels for these 20" Staggered TIS wheels rub on the rear on a hard bounce. Found some bondo when rolling the rear left fender.... installed some extra 10k Hid bulbs in my fogs. Need brakes and some other maintence things bought some tint and gunna try to install it my self on the doors soon.

my new set up is 275/30/20 in the rear on a 20x10 +40 and I rubbed all the way home from the shop on the slightest bounce. The 20s are big on this car. Gunna step down to 19s later on. Perfromance wise my 18s blew these 20s out the water I lost about 3 mpg going up to the wider and taller 20s

Previous owner food-groups... if you really want to be surprised, pull the rear seat-bottom, no tools required. Lots of french-fries and coins.
Wheel damage... impressive.
Tinted tail lights... never been a fan of this. My GS400 came with the glued-on overlays, and ended up replacing with later tail lights (much prefer the lower-thinner turn signals, vs. the earlier square turn signals), and selling the old ones for a song (as I couldn't get the overlays off). Just a taste thing, I guess.
Price: seems a bit high, yet your's also probably came with a really nice paint job, and no corrosion under the car... there's value in that.
Driving straight: bought ours with 198k, and the suspension was a mess. Replaced the front lower ball joints, struts, upper control arms, rotors, and pads... and the rear struts and pads... and it finally drives at freeway speed solid. Surprised that you need a "rack and pinion". Yet these are heavy beasts, and when things go bad (and they will), you're replacing a lot of suspension parts (yet it's worth it).
Headlight lens cleaning: credit for taping... we just start buffing, yet the paint on ours is past being OCD over. Yet can say... once cleaned, the headlights project much more light, when clean.
