The new front end basically looks like a truck, is not proportional with the rest of the body. This is like the 2009 TL all over again. Sadly, the rest of the updates look pretty good.
Honda really does need to fire their designers. They've been on the ugly roll with the grills as of late, the thick chrome bar on the Honda line is pretty bad as well. Not to mention the ugly Civic hatch, the Ridgeline looks like an emasculated truck with a minivan front end, this new TLX design, their cars are rather ugly right now IMO.
That emblem on the SUV is like 8 inches. I saw one the other day and it is gigantic. Awful. Between that and infinity I don't know who makes an uglier vehicle.
I don't think its that bad. The 2009 TL beak was much worse.
Looks better than the GS and IS front ends.
To me the 2009 TL and this are equally bad due to proportions. Perhaps their designs would work better if they moved on from making cars only on FWD traverse layouts.
As for the GS and IS, they're not bad to me because is balanced, entire design is aggressive.
Acura should work on its pricing and packaging instead of "fixing" something that wasn't a problem. It shouldn't be a requirement to get a $10,000 package in order to have AWD.
And Acura's really got to start making their interiors feel more special than Hondas. It it weren't for the brown and [new] red leather option and wood trim, the TLX would feel identical inside to an Accord.

Are you kidding me? There is no comparison between Acura and Infiniti. Acura has fallen so far off the map they need to just make SUV's and call it a day. I don't know anybody who thinks a Q50 or Q60 is "Ugly". Not to mention Infiniti blows them away in performance.
