The recent TLX is only handsome design coming from Acura save the NSX, and they mess it up again for the new model? Really?!??

Yeah, typical Madison-Avenue stuff that insults human intelligence. But IMO, it's probably no worse than the Super Bowl ad with that well-muscled young man kicking and dancing around the Lexus LC. I laughed at both of them. (To be fair, the one with Cam Newton and the Buicks wasn't much better, either).

it wouldn't be so bad (the front) is the god awful fogs and surrounds weren't so pronounced.

Yeah, that front end reminds me of the look my high-school English teacher would give me if I didn't finish my homework LOL She was a trip.

The shape of that grille is just one you know is going to age poorly. It's way overdone and is objectively bad design. It reminds me of the discussions we've had here regarding the grille of the 4th gen RX, which is also over styled with odd sharp edges and what not.

It seems like every new car these days, regardless of price point, is a bit over styled and has huge grilles. I'd say the Germans are still keeping their front end designs handsome enough that they will age well, save for the buck-toothed new 7-series.

Check out the pics at Autoblog. Looks much different and better there. If it's going to look like the Autpblog car, I think this is a good improvement. Getting rid of the heavy grille shield and beak is the best styling change the company can do. Adding trimmed out exhaust tips on all models needs to happen too. Not sure if that's just going on the V6 or not.
I still think this is a good car for the money. Most buyers don't need it to be a racecar. They are looking for a quiet, comfortable, semi-luxury ride at an affordable lease price. 95% of those I see around here are driven by women.

I looked at the Autoblog pictures - Overall not bad at all. The grill might be a bit much, but whose isn't these days.

Actually saw a black NSX yesterday and it was certainly nice looking but it certain was boring and nobody else cared or probably know what it is. This TLX will most certainly have people looking, but not in a good way.

As controversial as the design is, one improvement everyone would probably approve of is the inclusion of Apple Carplay and Android Auto... even though they still use the two-screen setup which looks extremely dated to me.

I think you pulled up someone's photoshop of the car, which looks much better integration and a better lower bumper area
