The digital ac screen looks sharper and the buttons with silver colour look more luxury. Good improvement

It's a numbers game for driver impressions. This move aligns it with the Mercedes-Benz GLC300 (which uses a 2.0T), BMW '28i' ===> '30i', '35i' ===> '40i' models etc..

It's only the beginning for Lexus. Apart from the hybrids deviating from displacement nomenclature, the IS300 AWD with the detuned 3.5L started it off, now we have the LS500 and its 3.5L TTV6. It's probably only a matter of time before we see IS300 (formally IS200t)/IS400, GS400, RC400 nameplates to combat C300, E400, 540i, Q50 Red Sport 400 etc..

Any more information or sources about the new navigation system? Looking to get an RC soon and might wait a bit for the 2018 one if it has a better infotainment system than current models.

My lease will be up in time to get one of these refreshes. I'm liking most of what i see, mostly cosmetic it seems. Foot operated rear hatch is a nice upgrade.

I'm highly disappointed Lexus decided to stick with a touch pad. Mine is useless. The new one better be a huge upgrade.

The other issue I have is the location of the memory seat buttons but I can't see them in any of the photos so far. They need to be relocated away from my knee!

Considering the RC which uses the laggy Gen8, will skip Gen9 (which is decent btw), and go straight to Gen10 like the 2018 NX, LS, and LC model, yes it will be better. Expect the bigger 10" screen, standard LSS+, revised RTI. Basically the improvements the 2017 IS got, will go to the RC this year, though the nav gen will be slightly superior.

I bet it will include digital clock like 2017 RX does on the drivers multi informational screen.
(For those of you who can't read read analog clock)

Looks like a cool update. I am also curious which ones will make it to the US. But did anyone else notice the little front camera underneath the emblem? Highlighted in red.

It is for the panoramic camera system, which has been a feature since the NX debuted; just not in the US market. Hopefully they bring it this time around though as it is available on other brands.

It's the camera for the PCS PreCollision and Adaptive Cruise Control system. The camera for the LDA Lane Departure system is on the mirror.

The pre-collision and adaptive cruise control systems don't use a camera. They use a radar housed behind the Lexus emblem. And yes, the lane departure system uses a camera above the rear view mirror.

That is the one thing I always want NX to get update too lol! I was like the car looks so cool but the gauges is so not fancy looking! I guess they gotta to holding off some nice feature haha.
