We did about 4 runs and my max was 236WHP 257WTQ , but we accidentally deleted the run file . The dyno graph below was the best comparison to stock that I have. We definitely saw a gain in peak HP and also a gain in both HP and TQ under the curve.

This was done on 93 octane with stock intake and exhaust.

I def NEED to see the stg 2 tune graphs from nuke!!! What is the difference in boost from stock vs TTi stg1 vs TTi stg2 vs Piggy backs?
Yes this is a fully stock motor. From my experience, the power boxes definitely had more torque but they died out after 4000rpm where as the TTI tune makes the engine feel a lot more stronger in the high rpm range which is also key to faster acceleration through the gears since the torque is only useful from a launch. The TTI has a 2-3 PSI increase which is the same as the TOM's and 4+ psi for the BMS.

Yea the torque makes the difference for daily driving, but it's nice to press it now and then! My next step is to get the torque numbers up, so down pipe and Stage 2!

It's not a drag car but if we can get anywhere near that jb4 BMW 328i @ 260 hp and 300 ftlbs with pump gas then the 200t has a ton of potential! The JB4 is hands down the most proven BMW tune out and BMW's are all about performance. I hope TTI can support ethanol eventually which would help with high boost it could push us over 300 whp. That test map nuke showed us looks promising as it said 295 ft lbs. I would love to smack around a BMW in the lexus

BMW's are underrated from the factory since they make more power than stated. I think with the re flash we might be able to keep up with a stock 328i and we need full bolt on's for a jb4 tuned. I honestly am looking to make this car a lot more fun to drive and I'll settle with making IS350 figures.

Nice man. Looks like BMS and TTI trade where they make their HP. BMS makes more HP low to mid and TTI in upper mid to high RPMs. BMS makes torque down low to mid while TTI makes more TQ at the higher end.

Personally for me since I wouldn't race my car on the track etc, I'd prefer to make my gains BMS style. The plug and play nature of the box vs. having to risk bricking the ECU -- I think that gives BMS the advantage--not to mention being cheaper.

But still looks like you made good gains and you can upgrade later.

When I got my 200T over the 350 I really wanted to see how the new engine could do with just a simple tune. For me bolting on down pipes, exhausts etc was not an option as I want to retain a classy factory quiet appearance. Still seems even when tuned, we can make more torque than the 350 but HP is still a long way off. With this tune the IS200T is making about 265 crank hp.

I'm sure it has a lot more room to open up requires more parts and fiddling with the stock computer.

Overall I am disappointed with the 200T engine. The gas mileage kinda sucks around town (though on highway i can get RIDICULOUS MPGs but I don't do strictly highway) and the engine isn't all that fast. I dunno how BMW did it with the 328 engine making GOBS more power and torque than our engine AND getting MUCH better MPGs. 328 owners run 25-28 average without breaking a sweat. With the 200T, I have to try pretty hard to get 21-22 average. Driving around town yields about 15-16 mpg. RC-F territory.

Anyway I hope Lexus improves this engine. From the low output, to the poor MPG, to the SLOW as molasses take off from a standstill, this engine needs a LOT of work. Not a bad engine, just meh. Not worth all the work, money, effort, and modification just so you can run even with a stock 328i.

I completely agree, since my previous car was an IS350 14 which got totaled so I went for the 200t afterwards but was disappointed with the power from day 1

Nice, can you help with reading the results. What's the acceleration difference with stage1 compared to stock?

If you look at the graph you can see that the stock tune had a peak torque in the beginning but the TTI stage 1 has an increase in both horsepower and torque over the rpm range. Overall acceleration is increased at mid and high range.

This is the graph for a BMW N20 motor (4 cylinder turbo) which is comparable to our 8AR-FTS 241hp/ 258lb-ft. As you can see with the TTI Stage 1 we are on par with the stock tuning of this motor. The 2nd run is with the JB4 tune and the third is with the addition of a de-catted downpipe. I am hoping to keep up with these results once I get a couple bolt ons and the Stage 2 ECU tune.
