i made appointment for this weekend to get my Nebula Gray IS350 F-Sport tinted, i don't wanna go too dark since i want to show off the Roja Red interior subtly lol. should i go with 35% all around or go darker with 25%?

 

I went with 30/20. Looks okay to me. In the sun, you can see a hint of the red guts.

 

Always go with the lightest possible. In your case, the 35 if that's the lightest you'll go.

Dark makes the car look so so so SO cheap and poor/used car lot/gangster/etc. Go light and keep it classy =)

personally for me I kept mine professional STOCK!

 

I kept mine legal at 35% (except for the windshield strip).

It depends on the choice of film too. Different films have different colors (slightly) and some films are just lighter/darker than others. Also take a look at the vlt specs on the manufacturer website if you know what fiilm you're getting. Companies tend to round their numbers so its possible that a 30% might be closer to a true 35% vlt.

With that said, i have nebula gray pearl and i went with a 30% on black interior. Its a bit darker than the 35% i had on my last car, but i haven't had any issues with it yet; also the lexus interiors are a bit warmer in temperature than my last car

 

i went with 45% and i love it

 

i have been thinking about this for months and will not tint at all

its a nice car so you want to be seen in it

plus the red seats are nice

 

Got the tint today, went with the Formula One Pinnacle ceramic 33% all around.

 

Looks good! Just in time for this searing hot weekend in SoCal.
