Well, thanks for your help, however there are no screws that are visible
either inside or outside the flap, don't see them
The screws are up there. They are behind the flap, near the edge and up about 1.5". Here is a photo of approximately where the screw is - my fingertip is touching the screw head. Try feel your way around the area - these are phillip-type screws.
