^ You could have it load tested, but if it's 5 years old I would replace it. That's a long time on the original OEM battery, and sometimes they die without warning as I learned first hand with an Acura years ago..
I'll probably keep the core and use it for one of my game cameras or solar projects. The piece of mind will go a long ways especially since AAA or others for that matter may often be far away from me in my offroad travels.
I proactively swapped out stock battery today. I just went with a Duralast 35-DLG... I had intended to get a 24F-DLG since the latter was a 750 CCA rated but picked up the wrong spec sheet on way to store and ended up with a 640 CCA (35-DLG) battery. It still has a higher rating that stock Panasonic's 595 CCA rating. Not gonna sweat it. I could already tell it sounded like starter spun faster.. but we'll see. 3 year 100% replacement with final 4/5 pro-rated.
I thought I was going to have to reset at least the windows. All settings were saved and nothing apparently reset. Battery was disconnected for about 5 minutes or so before the new one got attached. Only thing I saw was nav stating a message it was "starting up.. please wait" when I powered on the first time.
The challenge on the 24F would have been the length of the positive lead. Battery is like an inch or more higher and doesn't look like really any additional slack on that wire. Oh well... I guess I don't have to worry about that challenge now.
If you have ever watched batteries being rebuilt, it sheds some light on CCA. There is a battery rebuilder here. Very interesting. They take the old batteries, take the top off them, dump all the old plates and stuff out. Wash out the old case, and put in new plates. I had wondered why under heavy loads, like winch use, the higher CCA batteries didn't last very long. So I asked them. They showed me a 24 series 1000 CCA battery (I think it was a Sears battery) and a 600 CCA series 24 battery. Same case, just more plates in the higher CCA battery. Their response was, if you want it to last, less plates means it doesn't get as hot under heavy loads, and will last longer. The additional plates in the higher CCA batteries can't stay cool enough for good longevity. So I started using that theory in my Jeep with the winch, and found it to be true.
Interesting on the plates. Good info to know. I've started using some Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries in a few of my ATVs. Expensive though... I would have just gone AGM but battery trays aren't big enough for larger batteries and these things are like paperweights and far smaller in comparison. The quads have 3K WARN winches and heated grips and throttle like sleds. Supposedly a lot safer in comparison to other Li-ion ones but I guess I have to take their word on that.
2014 GX 460 exactly 3 yr old, with 30k miles, just did a test and the battery has 450 CCA.
the battery does not give any problems, the truck starts every time fine,
wonder if its time to replace the battery?

It's probably fine.... I just swapped my OEM unit out at 5 years as a preventative maintenance item. Old battery still worked but I can tell it was likely impaired as cranking sounds quicker with new battery.
