Any other Golf Cart owners on here?
I have two carts one I used for golf but I also just picked up a street legal cart this weekend. So far having a blast with it cruising around. They let you drive them here on roads 35mph or less. Any others on here with street legal carts? Post up a pic. I will post two of mine when the rain stops here. Great way to get around a town and no gas! They have become very popular around my area beaches over the last few years...

Are you familiar with The Villages in Central Florida? For those that aren't, it's huge, near 100k population, and a golf cart community. There are thousands of them (many customized) and cart paths throughout the whole place. Maybe a resident or two will see your thread and post pics.

The network of cart paths and underpasses (under main streets and roads) is impressive.

i live near the villages... yeah it's amazing, and so are all the golf carts and dedicated 'roads' next to the main roads for them.
besides golf carts though there's lots of car enthusiasts there... last year i happened to be on one of the town squares when it was 'corvette day' and every parking space on the square had an immaculate corvette... from very old to very new... it was awesome.

I have an EZ-GO RXV. Great for golf with the brake system that automatically stops when you take your foot off the accelerator. No more slamming the brake pedal down to park and again to go.
As far as the Villages go it's not my kind of lifestyle, way too overcrowded.

Yeah, I've heard of the villages too! I think I'm just too young to live there yet. Not at the point in my life for that type of lifestyle. Although, with so many golf courses it is enticing!
As to the RXV those things are cool, they had them at my old club and it took me a while to get used to that new brake setup. Seemed so strange to not have to set an emergency brake. Cool technology though.

^^^ Nice golf cart! haha
I live near a country club and see quite a few golf carts riding around the residential areas and sometimes parked in a nearby shopping center. A lot of them are customized as well - kind of funny seeing them on the course though.

Just curious, those golf cart community people, has anybody been a bit ostentatious and been rolling around in a Fiat Jolly lol . . .
Seriously though, I work near downtown Nashville. Somehow the city has allowed these damn "street legal" golf carts to operate as taxis on the public streets in and around the downtown areas. They have a big enough gas engine to where they can hit a top speed of 30, maybe 40 mph. They are all basically open air golf carts operating on the public streets, no seat belts, most of them have three rows of seats, some have 4 rows of seats, seats anywhere from 6 to 12, no seat belts, no doors, open air, go down the street at 30mph, you are all dead if somebody runs a stop sign/red light. They are noisy as hell, don't follow pollution laws and stink, and have had people killed on them, yet somehow this business is less regulated and taxed than taxis/Ubers/Lyft.
