Default Rear Crossmember Braces

I decided to make these at work today. They are made from 1.00" 304 SS hollow tube crushed on the ends. I installed them earlier took it for a spin and was impressed. The rear tires feel like both are really sticking to the road. Before it felt like only one was doing most the work depending on the corner left or right turns. I already had the rear sway bar, and chassis brace. Now looking to stiffen up the front end with a tom's strut bar. As I have an AWD is250 with added RR USRS.

UPDATE
See post#14 for files to make Center Brace, and Crossmember Braces.

I don't think the strut bars do much on our cars other than beautify the engine bay. But good work in the braces. :-).

Nice DIY job!

As noted above, a strut bar for the engine bay will have negligible effect being that the front suspension is a double-wishbone set up. You can however look into front under chassis braces to add further rigidity to the front end and would compliment the RR-Racing USRS you have installed.

I have the Cusco ones, i don't really feel any drifference but a few of my friend said the car does sound stiff sitting inside when going over bumps and pot holes...

I agree strut bar don't really make a difference on our cars cuz I have it in the front and back and I can't tell the difference, especially the rear one lol I lost trunk space bcuz of the strut bar... but on my old 95 corolla that I had it does cuz I bolted on a TRD one b4 and it made the corolla turn in a lot better...

Those look good. Steel? I'm planning to redo mine to Alum. 6061 Bar .50" THK waiting on material. Also doing an exhaust tunnel brace. Hoping it will at least do something besides adding weight. I pulled the stock one off to measure, and it's so flimsy.

Nice work with getting those custom-made braces, especially the center tunnel brace. I remember looking for a JUN-TW tunnel brace years back but those were going for close to $200.

At high speeds it feels a little more planted than before. I also notice less nose dive on hard braking. I'm really lagging in the front end. At this point I might just order the AWD Fsport away kit. All I need is the front one.

Thanks. Yes I've looked at them before JUNTW. I almost ordered from them before.

I've had multiple request on getting the center brace made. Since my buddy only makes them for me when he can. I'm uploading the files to make them here. You can send them out to a machine shop for a quote. I would pull the parts off your car to double check measurements. As I did they should work well as they did on my car.

Mike, did your car not come with the tunnel brace or those rear braces?
This is stock.
