I have a 2015 GX460 and I purchased LED bulbs for front and rear with resistors. Replaced the rears no problem. CN anyone please explain the best way to remove and replace the front turn signal bulbs. I have scoured the internet to no avail. Thanks for any help.
Appreciate the response. My dealer screwed up so many things I got them to give me new tires yesterday and throw in the bulbs and resistors free of charge.
Can you provide details on how badly your dealer screwed up for them to give you freebies - new tires and leds with resistors?
BTW, do you have an image of your 7440A Leds with resistors?
Did you ever figure out the solution for the Flasher Relay issue?
I bought a 2015 Certified GX from the dealer. Within a week it was back to have the blind spot monitor fixed and the front brakes replaced. I was pissed that they could sell the truck knowing those were issues needing attention. They brought me a concierge loaner with 3 miles of range. In the first month my GX spent more than half of the time at the dealer. There were additional mistakes made. They put some cheap *** Hankooks on it as well. I demanded they put the Michelins on there, which they did. When we bought the car they signed us up for a CC which we declined. I sat down with the GM a few times, and told him I was thoroughly disappointed with the overall service up to this point. He asked how he could make it right. The tires were part of the deal, and the bulbs and resistors were gravy. I ditched the flasher as it didn't work with the car. I'll try and get pictures of the bulbs and resistors tomorrow. I haven't had a chance to fix the resistor placement yet. It was 118 today so I wasn't keen to climb under the truck. Hope that answers your questions.
Anyone here had experience to replace front turn signal bulb on 2014+ GX? I am assume that you need to take the wheel wall cover off in order to gain access. Like to seeking any suggestion and tips before I venture into it. Any info are greatly appreciated.
I wonder if the '14+ still has the gap from underside like the '10-'13 to reach up into that area? Area directly underneath bumper in front of tire. You'll need to get on the ground to check. I was able to swap my fog lights on my '12 taking minimal pieces off. Actually on driver's side I didn't remove anything.
Cool!! Good to hear... we all know so many other vehicle where this is can be a major project to get to a simple part and refreshing to hear it is still relatively simple on the GX.
