....they all have the same size spare......the prices are all over the board & much higher if you purchase "the Sc spare"....a lot of the members have opted for other spare tires from different vehicles, with the same bolt pattern & that will clear the front brake calipers. Do a search & look at some of the options other members have used. A common replacement by members is the Rx-7 spare, but I can't remember which year(s) off hand
these are the spec I have on the RX-7 spare and I've seen some with multi-bolt pattern. Our car is set for 5x114.3mm (aka 5x4.5inch). As I'm running 20" tires and rims all year I doubt I can get by with a 17" spare with 20" on other three corners. Actually a little confused on how a 17" spare (which is stock for the SC430) can run with 18" on all other corners. Seems like the rotational mass would be different btn 17" and 18", but I'm no physicist or automotive engineer.
thank you both for information. I can buy an SC 430 tire + wheel mounted (Used but never "used") for $225 including shipping. do you think that is a fair price??
I think that's highway robbery, personally. As I said, i'm running 20"s but even when I had 18" I kept a Slime Tire Kit (includes the foam and small 12v air compressor) in the trunk. Saves space in the trunk vs a spare, and only costs less than $20.

....$225 isn't a bad price for the "Sc spare"......because they can be much higher, as Bgw70 posted
I bought a used Toyota Supra spare tire off of CraigsList for $50 that is the same size. Then I bought a partial spare tire kit from a dealer (normal kit minus the spare tire).
