It's pretty cool that you did it. It shows that the kit is for 2014+. I'm on the fence about DVD/Nav by pass kit since the kids don't watch DVD anymore and I don't really use the NAV...the size of iphone 7+ takes care of most things. lol
bbqsoup does your GX with the video setup have an AUX inputs? If so, you could probably do some screen mirroring type thing but nav unit screen resolution probably wouldn't make it an outstanding option. I don't have any externally accessible inputs on mine
... maybe there is something on the back of the stock unit?

I see the RCA video input from the backseat console. It also has the AUX next to the USB port in the front console too.
I have the AUX & USB but no other external video inputs. Probably have to cross reference the wiring diagrams in FSM. Not sure I'm interested in getting in there for this right now.
This may be a stretch, but does the touchscreen on the car mirror also or do you need to press the phone screen?
No touchscreen interface; but Siri is compatible and comes through the Lexus speakers so all you have to do is hold down the home button on the phone and wait for the Siri beep and you have voice control over the phone.

Thanks bbqsoup. My wife made the same arguments to me before I ordered the kit! My view was that I plan on keeping the truck for awhile and my phone generally stays in my pocket so the inability to use the factory nav on the fly was just too irritating to ignore. Although now that I can mirror the Waze app I will probably start using that by default since that app has some great extra features.

This might be a solution for you as well. I did not consider it because I also wanted the nav bypass. You could probably find a hidden place to tap into the factory rca inputs. Then this would stream your screen mirror wifi.
