Since my interest in the GX has been strongly renewed as of late, I stumbled upon this demo unit during a random google search - I personally think it's fantastic. Curious how others feel about it? It's definitely a bit "out there" but I think that's what I like about it; different for sure.
My ideal daily driver has always been something that can tackle any and everything on the outside while still offering the luxury and amenities of higher end manufacturers on the inside - this seems to fit the bill. Too bad it's Canadian spec. I'd have to assume the pricing is in Canadian dollars too but current exchange rate would put it at ~$60,500 USD which I would heavily consider if only it was US spec...worst case I'd lease the hell out of this bad boy.
Yeah I posted on that same one a few weeks back.... I like it!! :-) IIRC...they even get the center console cooler box on top trim models in Canada.
Though I'm not sure how much I'd actually use it, the cooler box is def a cool feature to have. I'll never understand why some features are made "region specific" only.
I'm really curious where they got those "custom" (as they're described in the accompanying YouTube video) pocket style fender flares and that Lexus branded roof basket 🤔
This executive package appears to include additional air cooled transmission cooler to supplement liquid one in radiator as well as some extra protection on gas tank skid plate (covers entire gas tank?) instead of partial for US market. I've seen some factory gas tank skids that seem to cover entire tank. There are third party options of course.

The roof rack is just a Thule Trail XT cargo basket, size large, painted black with a Lexus sticker on it.
Guess the fender flares are "custom" Bushwacker pocket flares. Maybe made for the Prado?
I think more as a sacrifificial part when brush comes around. I'd rather scratch that than the paint. Surely keeps some mud off rig but I'm not a mudder either.
