The Lexus 2018 LS500's Interior is Beyond Impressive

The LS is what started the entire Lexus brand, and since 1989, this model has been evolving at a drastic pace. If you've ever wondered if the Lexus LS is as good as its competitors, the 2018 LS500 will eliminate all doubt with its one-of-a-kind interior.

Not sure about the new design. Not sure about a V6 in their flagship car either. The current LS is on its 3rd re-fresh. Which is why I purchased a 2017 MBZ S class in late 2016. Can't even compare. (And I am a loyal Lexus owner and advocate since my first 2007 LS purchased in 2006). I too did not see anything wow technology wise about the new LS. The lines on the dash, patterned perforations on the seats, leather covering the wood portion of the steering wheel, etc are all copied from the current S class. (Which according to many has the best car interior bar none!)
While I love the Lexus brand and am looking forward to the new LS (My wife had 2 LS sedans in the past and wants to get back into one. She now drives an RX) I hope it doesn't disappoint.

Sat in one while at the Dealership and was so floored about this car I had to hold a napkin to ensure I didnt drool inside car!!
(For those who've never sat in one before - these seats are like nothing you ever sat in before! They literally "Hug" you inside!
The GM has a totally tricked out one parked in front that he let me sit in too - said Im welcome to take it out for a rip one day as well. (GREAT GREAT GUY who is about as Patriotic as they come, and extended me every ounce of courtesy while we were there to get our 2017 RX350 for wife!) Im REALLY looking fwd to that day!
I don't know how so many people can afford this car out there? Insane prices when you start loading up the killer options! - Wonder if Id get one if I hit the Lotto??

From pictures, not crazy about the new LS - but will reserve judgement until I can see it live. I owned multiple LS's until 2010, but disliked my '07 (still the current model with some refreshes).
I will likely check the LS 2019 when my current lease is up.

I too ended up leasing a 2017 S550. The 2017 LS was on its 3rd refresh since 2007. (It's basically the same car as the 2007 LS). I love pretty much everything about the new S class. My wife had two LS sedans in the past. She now drives an RX350. But she really wants to go back to the LS. We too are looking forward to the new LS. I probably won't buy a 1st year car, but most likely, if we buy one, it will be the second year it's out. (So they can fix some of the bugs)

The S Class is a better car for sure, a lot more expensive though.
