I installed as per directions. BUT I do not think the canister is flow specific. I looked over my piece a great deal before installation and did not notice any inlet/outlet markings which tells me it shouldn't matter. I will double check this next time I'm in the garage near the ISF.

Just browsing their site and seeing V1 pictures it also appears to be non flow specific.

I think you all should be fine.

Different issue, but wanted to caution anyone with the later thumb screws for their canisters. I popped the hood at the weekend whenI was cleaning the car, and one of them has worked itself loose, and disappeared!

Hoping it might be in the undertray, but just wanted to let folks know it's an issue.

Noticed the screws on my tuned intake also seem to work themselves loose?!

Getting in the habit of checking them more often nowadays.

I'm not sure if you have their canister which has an arrow marked. This arrow marking is raised and I had to file mine down so it became flush. I haven't had any issues after filing the arrow down. This was for the earlier batches of canisters with the updated thumb screws. Ignore this, if you have the latest version.

Just took my AOS apart (v1) and has an arrow on the top.

Then there you have it!

my V2 was ground down from RR so there wasn't an arrow on it at all. I did look last night.

Thanks.

I'll check this out. Mine is also the early version, just decided I liked the thumb style screws as opposed to the hex type it originally came with.

Appreciate the info though mate.

So looking at mine a few weeks back I have mine installed like in pic number 2 but have always had leaks as in the picture below.

Do you think RR could send me a replacement set of tubes for this? as I believe mine is installed incorrectly:

Something looks off from the pcv hose, do you have the adapter on the hose ? Cant tell from the pictures with the valve cover on. From the pcv hose should have the adapter to the aos blue hose . The clamp should be on that hose not the blue .

Default Cel ?

Had and old one from rr racing and was leaking air at the two screws and cel was on and vsc light was also on took it to a shop and they did a smoke test to see where leak was . The shop I got it done at used teflon tape to prevent it from leaking but here and there it would leak and cel would come on . One day my brother had my car and that day cel was on and he totaled the car cuz there wasn't no vsc when cel is on . Not putting a blame on rr racing because it was also raining a wet that night but if vsc was on it would've probaly help him from slippin and losing control . But now I have the newer version in my new isf and works fine . I would do a smoke test to see where leak coming from .

Get the new reducer/adapter if it's leaking from the pcv hose

Does anyone happen to know what codes we would see if the AOS was leaking? I keep getting codes ever since installing (P117B/P050B/P0101) also my MPG has dropped by 5mpg. I’m thinking my PVC line that goes into the engine is possibly leaking but it’s a right space down there and I can’t reach it to check or better secure it.

Yes, that could be a leak in the PCV system which is what the AOS is grafted into.
