2015 Crafted Ultra White w/ black interior.
40% 3M Ceramic front & rear doors only. Rear window already tinted (prior owner? dealer?) Didn't seem worth it to rip and replace.
Does not always look this dark, but I love it!

I got my 3IS tinted yesterday. I was choosing between 3M Color Stable 35 & Solargard HP Charcoal 32. Apparently, my car already had V-Kool 40 on the doors & Solargard LX70 on the front & back. The installer asked me twice if i wanted to have it removed. I wanted tint just dark enough that only the silhouette of the people inside can be seen. They recommended Solargard HP Charcoal 22 instead because the HP Charcoal just be a tad darker than what I currently have so that's what I went with.
HP Charcoal 22 has 22% VLT & 55% TSER (the same TSER as Solargard's LX70)
Another option was to get Solargard's LX25 with the TSER in the mid-60% but it would have been 4x the price of the HP Charcoal 22.

Just picked up this baby last weekend 2017 is300 fsport white on red and I have 10% all around and whatever came on it stock on the windshield can't see inside at all in daylight I know a lot of people don't like them dark but it's my first Lexus and I just don't want to be seen or bothered I had 20s on my 328 BMW and they were nice but not dark enough for me I'm not worried about night time driving since the car has so many safety features and cops not worried about them either since cops in my town have tints on there cop cars and there personal cars so we're cool and i live in CT 45 minutes away from NYC with no traffic

For those who had 3M Crystalline and Formula One Pinnacle, which would you choose?
I was quoted $450 for 3M and $315 for Formula one excluding the windshield, but hard for me to justify an extra $100+ for 3M even though I prefer the factory look Crystalline offers.
My main reason for installing tint is heat rejection, but still want to maintain light inside the vehicle so leaning towards 40-50% level.

I ended up with 30% Formula One Pinnacle and very pleased with the results. Much cooler interior temps when entering the vehicle and even while driving, summer time of course. My only complaint is slight polarization when wearing polarize sunglasses. The tint does not polarize as bad as the factory sunroof and back window glass, but still noticeable.
Now I'm considering tinting the front to further improve interior temps and reduce glare. Will 70% Crystalline polarize?

Really glad this thread exists. I finally know what tint scheme I want thanks to everyone's examples.
Question though. Is negotiating window tint possible? The most I read have been people suggesting to pay cash (which I dont mind) and possibly dropping any sort of warranty (which I do mind).
I found two shops, Shop A asking $170 vs Shop B asking $250 for all windows (minus windshield) using Llumar ATC 30-35%. Shop A is not only less expensive, but also has over 200+ reviews with solid 5 stars. Shop B has about 20 reviews and is 4.5 stars. This is in California. Both places do quality work from what I've gathered. Problem is Shop A is about an hour away from me, whereas Shop B is local.
Any suggestions? Thanks guys and gals

So they both use the same material and one shop is charging 80 more? Just tell them you found a different local thats 170 that uses the same material and see if they can price match or give you a reason why they charge that much id keep warranty imo wpuld be made if i paid 170 and something got messed up and they wouldnt cover it
I'll give Shop B a call and hopefully they'll budge. And yeah I agree, I want to keep that warranty too. Thanks for your reply!
