Anyone hear any news about the 2018 RC? Should be a refresh if recent Lexus models are any indication. From what little I've found about this MY18 is that the RC200t simply gets a name change to RC300 (2.0t RWD). The RC300 AWD will still utilize a detuned 3.5L V6 but making 260hp up from 255hp. The RC350 supposedly gets 311hp courtesy of the GS350. No word on bumper changes or migrating to the updated IS interior ie bigger 10.3" screen, standard SS+, or revised Remote Touch ala LC. Lexus has been pretty tight lipped about the RC but I suspect we'll know more soon. Feel free to share your thoughts.
I hope they do the same they did with the recent IS refresh. Updated front/rear bumpers, updated headlights, bigger Nav screen, remove the rear plastic bear claws. I'm in an IS now but if they do these things for 18' I'll be buying an RC.

All I have seen is what's in Motor Trend. Doesn't look like there is an exterior refresh.
Base Price: $41,500-$65,500*
Body Type: Coupe
Minor: The four-cylinder RC 200t has been renamed the RC 300 RWD, and the V-6-powered RC 300 AWD and RC 350 each get a 5-hp boost. An updated version of the Lexus Enform Telematics suite is available, and the Lexus Safety system+ suite of active safety features is now standard on the entire RC lineup. F Sport models and the RC F get an updated drive mode selector, which includes S+ and custom settings.
Also Consider: Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe, BMW 4 Series, Audi A5.
Sum Up: Angry looks and a screaming V-8 make for a powerful package.
Really? Just got my RCF and now they decide to do a 10.3 in screen!? I hate the navi on my RCF i can barely see anything compared to my GS.
I've owned 6 cars with OEM GPS systems and they have all been worthless. I've never used the one in my RCF, I use my phone.. don't care about the maps really, just want the voice to tell me what street to turn on which the OEM system doesn't do, all it says is turn right/left at the next street or in XXX feet, I prefer to know the name of the street I am supposed to turn on, also I want it to update the route for traffic issues, which the OEM system sucks at compared to the real time updates on the phone.
actually I don't even remember the last time I switched my screen off of the radio (actually Pandora) content view.
From what I've heard from a friend at TMC all of the above regarding the 2018 RC-F will apply to the 2018 RC 350 (not sure about the colors though). The venerable 2GR-FSE gets replaced by the 2GR-FKS which accounts for the 5hp bump. Same engine that's in the current GS 350 and RX 350.
Since Lexus (Toyota) won't do Android Auto or Apple Car-Play, Enform 2.0 is kind of a nice step in the right direction. Enform Dynamic Navigation is now part of the Enform Destination services and includes over-the-air map data updates. After the free 3 years I think it's only $80 per year.
I am looking forward to this change. Unfortunately I have a 2017 RC 350 so it will be a couple of years.

Ha! This ^^^^^
I don't remember ever using the GPS maps in my Lexus. Apple Car play would be a great upgrade in my opinion.
