I was really worried there, thought I wasnt going to get any help tonight. I didnt want to lose 1 of the last Saturday nights with warm weather over something so strange.
Thanks Lexo98, and thanks TYPEII for responding to my PM, and taking the time to send several pics. Maybe it will help other people who have the same problem.

Please tell us what car you have next time.

Also FWIW, the first picture is the TPS on the driver side of throttle body (GS400) and the second pic is the APPS or Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor on the passenger side of throttle body.

They vary from car to car, especially GS400 and GS430s

Oop! I thought I had that info in the title, not sure how i ommitted that? I have a '99 GS400, there just wasn't much info online for the engine wiring harness. I thought the accelerator position sensor was under the dash. Maybe that's is why I couldn't find anything useful online. I found plenty of articles on 1JZ's and 1st gen LS tps wires.
I need to download the shop manual next time I find a good, free, PDF.
Thanks for the info.
