Lol, Lets see those results. Im sure with that "real tune" that civic would still give you trouble!
Yeah we all love our Lexus IS, but objectively speaking, that stock Civic w/ tune should be able to walk any 200T w/ any tune and bolt ons. Its like 400 lbs lighter to start... hell. stock SI i'd worry.

I think its safe to say that a N20 BMW would be surprised with that tuned SI.

Nah I don't think so. That SI will never hit over 300wtq, completely stock OV stage 0 hits it. There's no replacement for displacement I know, but I'd take a 2.0 displacement over a 1.5 even if I'm trading 400 pounds, no problem not even a question lol

Its a Civic! That thing will have so much aftermarket support, i'm sure with full bolt on's its achievable. Now on to the real topic, with your setup and OV stage 2 you should be well beyond the 300WTQ mark and that is impressive. When you do get a chance please post some videos, i would like to see what OV's full open throttle does from a dig.
Spoke too soon. A tuning company VIT just hit 326 lbs of torque on their Civic SI stage 2 tune. Just launched.
We've taken the time to develop a "Stage 2" type tune to include for all our Civic Si customers purchasing a KTunerFlash and PRL Downpipe/Front Pipe combo from us. This tune is designed for 91 octane or better on the Si and 87 octane or better on the "base" (including 6MT and CVT) while applying the same VitTuned touch we've come to expect of our tunes.
Designed to work on any 10th Gen Civic vehicle with a stock or stock size intake (PRL, Injen, Mishimoto, etc -- they are all stock size as of this writing). This tune will work on vehicles ranging from stock to modified, supporting modifications such as:
Intercoolers
Exhausts
Stock sized MAF intakes (all are as of this writing).
On The Si
We saw over 120ft lbs of torque increased and as much as 75-80 horsepower over stock with this package. Yes clutch is recommended. 91 octane fuel or greater REQUIRED. Results will vary from car to car and fuel quality. This is a dual mode tune -- lower boost levels in "normal" and all of it unleashed in "sport" mode.

hi !! When r u going for the OV stage2 tuning dyno test im so excited to see the result
Sorry guys, i got off topic with my Civic SI rant. We're just waiting to see what the results are for the OV tune. I am also waiting for Tony to release his 21 PSI tune, they are still doing some testing for knocking and high intake temperatures before i can get it on the dyno.
Ya sorry. These are new times for Japanese 2L turbos so it's fun and interesting to see how they all compete. Back to 200T talk =)
I know right. This motor has a lot of potential seeing that the 1.5T Honda can squeeze that amount of power and run 24+ psi, it's just up to the tuners to unlock its capabilities.
I don't think we tune this car to beat civics, my main goal is to kill any IS350 and tell the owner "20 000$ less and I still beat ya!"
Just kidding, but seriously, this car should have more power stock. Marketing reasons, possibly. But this will make my daily driver more fun than ever, and I will keep for a long time!
On that note, OV shipped my package and I will have some numbers tuned with stage 0, 94 octane very soon!!

i deeply believe that the 8ar has a potential to be much more powerful and there's the true power is sealed due to marketing reason but a lexus fan there're some significahint hints those I've heard and some from my personnel opion.
1.Toyata or Lexus spent years to develop this 8ar they have a good name for the durability and relibility and 8ar is another price of thier master piece as they know that they have many strong german competitors on 2.0L turbo engine as I ve heard or read Lexus roll out 8ar somlate because they over tested on it but why over test was needed for them ummmm to me its to ensure the engine durability and relibility.
2.I hread some fromwhere that Lexus has a bigger plan for his 8ar-fts engine as there's a space for turbo upgrade ummm... yes i hread from some where anyone here can confirm this ?
3.marketing stretegy :If they make the 200t too pwerful how can they sell the 350 ? As you guys can see the torque of 350 and stock torqurnof 200t is pretty close so maybe thats the reason why they put the "torque limitation" to decrease the engine torque so im quite confident that the 8ar-fts can go for much more.
4.bolt-on upgrade with a good tuner will definately able unleash the engine power to the maximum but as this 8ar is still new so it might take a while for tuners to get to know to engine better and here at this thread i can see positive improvement and updates almost everyday and that make me so happy.
5.I cant remember what the material lexus used to make this 8ar for those pistons, crankshaft, etc can anyone me idea how strong of the engine material becuase thats relate to the engine tuning potential can benchmark the materials with other of thier rival from german maybe USA too.
I'm focusing on TTi and OV tune they have the same goal and the same goal with all of us here they're our hope and heros and while they're still doing thier job im so upgrading my 200t to be ready once the they've crystalized the most finiest and the most powerful tuning method.
