Navi and BT only through left door speaker, normal?

A friend just got an 05 LS, and when the Navigation is talking or he is on a phone call, the sound is only coming out of the left front door speaker.
Is this normal operation?

Completely normal. And to me the volume is way to low even at the loudest setting.

Odd that they wouldnt allow it to go through at least both front speakers...

Yea volume is very low and caller sometimes have a difficult time hearing you when driving. I will buy the TOY-BT45 and use the mic from that so I can have it come thru the car speakers. I don't like this factory set up and have un-synced my phone because of not being able to hear at times.
