I'm sitting in my 2001LS 430 in the rain, in the parking lot of my dentist. Killer toothache. In general a bad day. Car is off when the moon roof retracts. Startled I start car and hit the switch, nothing, Ikeep messing with it and it closes 95 percent. Feeling somewhat triumphant, I kill car remove key. 20 seconds later it retracts again. Put sun shield over car shut in doors and go to appointment. Afterwards I race to my mechanic and upon arrival try one last time , it closes completely.I yank fuse and thats where I'm at now. Any ideas?

Wow - that's a new one on the LS430 and I've been reading the forum for many years. Moon roof retracts by itself with the car off and no key in the ignition (assuming this car does not have smart key)? Someone nearby with a remote key fob?
