Default Club for the 2010 SC

Being only 329 units built, the 2010 SC owners are a very small part of this forum. Let see how many of those 329 owners are on this forum. Roll call is here now. I'm first: here is the info you should include on your roll call. 2010 owners only please!

1. 2010 SC
2. Red/camel
3. purchased Jan 2014
4. Amount paid: $39k
5. miles upon purchase 27k
6. current mileage: 32k
7. location: Southern California (purchased from Texas.)

My History:
I bought my first SC in 2008. It was a 2002 white gold/ecru. When the 2010 came out with all the upgrades, I knew I would eventually own one. It took 4 years to find it. The fact that only 329 were built, made the search lengthy. My 02 came with 23k miles and priced at $26k. I sold it 6 years later with only 36k miles for $22k. That put my cost at $4k for 6 years-I did ok with that and loved it-until my 2010 came along. Purchased in 2014 for $39k with 27k miles. Love my SCs!!!!

What are all the upgrades in 2010? Which ones you like the most compared to 2002?

Probably the stereo is the best upgrade, from Xm to a USB drive. The wheels, which I had chromed, the puddle lamps, and the turn signals on the mirrors are all improvements. That is in addition to all the improvements made in the 06 model. That includes the 6 speed tranny and minor changes to the front and rear.

Here is an ad for one in Los Angeles. https://losangeles.craigslist.org/la...?lang=es&cc=mx

I wanted to see what the differences are. Take a look at the radio. No cassette hole, with the button replaced for SAT. Also look at the HVAC console, it has a different button for the Roof.

Radio info is still on the nav via the audio button. The top button looks different but works the same way. The xm requires an antenna on the roof (not the folding one). The USB is in the console.

Unhappy What No Tape Deck

Can I get an adapter to go from my cassette walkman to a USB outlet so I can play all my cassette tapes if I buy a 2010 SC, otherwise I will have no choice but to stick with my 2002 model, duh

Default $ Value and BT question

A 2010 in indigo blue and camel interior is available in Richmond with 65k miles. Asking $25k. Is that a fair price considering the few in the US that were imported? Is the BT radio for both phone dialing and for music streaming? I have a 2006 model and had to add a Vais interface to stream music, but it did have BT for phone built-in.

Yes, Bluetooth for phone and music. It is old technology and upgrading the whole head-unit can get you a lot more features including car play and android auto. They are rare but for that price I would make sure mechanically it is in tip top shape and the water pump / timing belt service have been replaced. If it has not then take about $1200 off the price.
