Picking up our new family vehicle on Friday. We chose to go for the TX350 AWD Premium as it offered the best bang for buck with options and pricing. My local dealer notified us as soon as they had one in stock to test drive, and I was immediately impressed. At first I was afraid it may be too similar to the Grand Hylander, or not feel as premium. But I was wrong! Noise insulation was very good, as you would suspect with a Lexus. I was also concerned with the 4 banger power delivery, however it was also more than sufficient for our needs. I didn't feel much lag or struggle at all with the engine, pleasant surprise. (This is comparing to my daily driver Cayenne Turbo)
The vehicle we test drove was north of $70k, which felt kind of expensive for what it offered. It was a lux with the ML stereo, 22" wheels, captains chairs, and the rest of the options we purchased on our Premium, along with over $1200 of accessories. We feel as though giving up 22" wheels would be a better option, as a family SUV would ride better on the 20" wheels, and would also take less curb rashes better than the 22s. The standard Nulux feels pretty good, compared to the semi aniline upgrade. The standard stereo also sounded pretty good compared to the ML. The only other major thing missing on the Premium compared to the Lux is the HUD, which was pretty nice. The bench was absolutely necessary with the size of my family, so a 500h or a Lux with captains was out of the question.
- TX350 AWD Premium
- Nightfall Mica/ Peppercorn
- Convenience, Tech, Cold Area Package, All Weather Floor Liners
This particular vehicle was an incoming model, we did not order it as such. The lack of BS accessories and upcharges was also a bonus. MSRP was $62.5

Hey TX family.
I just got my TX 350 AWD Premium (Wind Chill Pearl/Black) with Convenience, Cold area, Technology, and Second row captain chair packages.
Amazing car! I was between this TX or Grand Highlander. But, the TX felt by far more luxurious and enjoyable to drive.
Before filling all the paper work
Finally home

just signed on a TX 350 luxury in white on Friday. hope to pick it up later this week. essentially negotiated with a trade so the deal was a bit different.
I can post up a pic and window sticker and options when I have some more time....
long story short my Q7 trade blue booked for 22-26K. they sold me the new 72K car at sticker and gave me $31K for my trade which helped a little more with taxes.
car has luxury, mark levinson, convenience, technology, puddle lights, mudflaps, door edge guards, all floor mats, and a trailer hitch (not the activity mount). looking forward to a much more rewarding ownership experience where I spend less time in the shop and open my wallet a lot less. coming from a 2017 and then a 2018 Q7, it was constantly giving me heartaches. I plan to have a post up with my last ownership experience, a formal introduction, and some pictures soon.
FWIW I am in the greater boston area right now...
