Is there a way to play video or stream from iPhone to the Nav- screen ?..

 

No you cannot stream videos to your infotainment screen. But you can put a DVD disc into the CD/DVD player to play videos from the disk. As long as your car is in "park" and not moving and the DVD is NOT bluray or hd-dvd then you should be able to watch a movie.

 

I'd be afraid of running down the car battery. May as well watch on the cellphone....

 

I guess can't watch CNN while driving . Oh wait may be I can try CNN+.

 

On the 16-19's you can. Don't know about a 21'.

It depends on the vehicle. You can add CarPlay to the factory Lexus stereo using the GROM VLine VL2 or VLite VT2 system. You can also use the HDMI-In to stream from iPhone. However, you need to check if your stereo is compatible.
2021 Lexus RX is not compatible with the GROM system unfortunately.
