2007 is350 unfixable O2 sensor code (B2S1) p2241
It's been months now that I've been dealing with this cel and it seems like nothing is working originally I thought the PPE headers and RR racing tune were my issues but I'm still not sure. I'll give a quick summary of what I tried
I'm probably missing some stupid thing that would give me a possible answer but I am really desperate at this point and will retry anything, also I would like to test my 02 sensors heater wire resistance but I'm not completely sure how. do I need to be under the car with it running to test? or can I just unplug the sensor and stick the multimeter on the prongs? any help is greatly appreciated
- new 02 sensor (this was my first fix it didn't work)
- replaced 02 harness extensions I noticed the connectors were melted.
- I cleaned my 02 sensors as well just because I was trying anything
- I then moved on to checking my harness up and down as best I could for damaged wires (this was difficult just because of the placement of the harness)
- checked fuses along with relays and tested them

What dash lights or symptoms does the code trigger?

I have a 2010 IS350 with PPE headers and the RR Racing tune, same codes P2240 and P2241. Both installed 15 months ago with no issues or codes until just recently. Codes do not return after clearing until next engine start. Haven't replaced anything yet, but your experience leads me to believe the sensor isn't faulty.

I have same problem 08 is250. Original code was something about ECU and o2 sensor. I replace both upstream o2 sensor with OEM Denso.
Got new code I didn’t have before which is P2240. When clear, the code appear within 5mins.
I’m going to try but new one incase it’s defective or put back old one.
then trace ECU wiring.
how do I verify info with ob2 scanner? Anyone know. What do I look for? Example I read another forum show voltage and when throttle they see certain reading.
