Default Anyone go with aftermarket wheels on their 5th gen RX350?

Hi everyone! I just purchased a 2024 RX350h Premium with the 19" two-tone wheels. While I don't hate them, I will say it's the one part of the vehicle I would change. I could have gone with the Premium Plus, but I liked those 21" wheels even less. They're a little busy and look incredibly difficult to keep clean. Ideally, I like the black wheels on the 2024 RX350 F-Sport models. However, I don't like black interiors (TOO HOT) or red interiors, so I went with the RX350h Premium in Cloudburst Gray with Macadamia interior. Besides, it's MUCH easier to change out wheels than it is to paint the vehicle or change out the interior!

So, I was wondering has anyone swapped out their rims? I LOVE the look of black rims on a gray vehicle!

I do like these. Asanti Black Label - Alpha 5

Those wheels would require hub centric adaptor rings because they have a bore of 72.56mm and the RX has a 60.1mm bore.

Yes, I know they'd require adapters. I'm just posting some images of what I think would look good. Any suggestions are welcome!

Thanks!

Those wheels look great! Good color combo with the RX.

I got aftermarket wheels for my RX350h for the winter snow tires. I agree that the OEM 21 inch wheels on the Premium+ look nice but are a chore to clean. I went with a simpler design for the snows.

They are Kraze 194's 8.5" width by 20".

Those are SWEET! Good choice. Did they need any adapters?

I was told by the CWO salesman that hub centric ring adaptors weren't necessary even though the new rims hub diameter was larger than the Lexus 60.1mm. Being old school, I still bought and added the correct hub centric rings anyway.

The wheel offset is 38mm. They have no clearance issues and fill the wheel well nicely.

Hey, thanks for the quick reply! I'm looking at some 2022 Lexus F-Sport wheels, but the sales rep doesn't know the offset of my wheels, so he's not sure they will fit.
Do you know what the offset is for the 2024 Lexus RX350? Mine are the 19" rims, but I would imagine the offset is the same for the 21".

Hey, I found the offset for the 2022-2025 Lexus RX350 wheels. It's 38-42.

Has anyone put the ALY74338U45Lexus RX350 2021-2022 wheels on a 2023-2024 5th Gen Lexus RX350?

The offset on these is 30mm whereas the offset on the 2023-2024 wheels is 40mm, so I'm checking to see if these would fit.

Lug nuts vs. lug bolts will be an issue you'll need to figure out.

I love my 21's. Cleaning hasn't been an issue at all.

So are you saying that the lug nuts on my 2024 Lexus may not fit on the lug bolts of the 2022 Lexus wheels? Maybe I'm showing my ignorance, but I thought:
1. Lug nuts are a standard size
2. I'm not changing out the lug bolts - they exist on the vehicle I'm attempting to put a different wheel on. So, I'll be able to use the existing lug nuts on the existing lug bolts. They're already on the vehicle.

OR, are you saying that the lug bolt OPENINGS on the replacement wheel may be a different size and that's the issue I'll need to figure out?

Thanks!

Gen 5 RXs switched from stud and lug nuts to lug bolts like European cars use to mount wheels. Wheel seats are different as well. You'll need wheels bolts that have the same seats as the Gen 4 wheels. Your stock bolts have the wrong seat for the Gen 4 wheels.

Some wheel stuff in this thread as well: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...ptions-14.html (post #181 in particular)

Interesting. I had no idea about this. Good to know. Thanks for the information! Changing wheels just got even more complicated.
