No sure if anyone else is having the same issue, this is a 2023 RX350H premium trim model.
The driver side seat cover has been replaced once already around 3500 mileage and the new seat cover has the same "bubbling" look since replaced at dealership.
I was reading your post and absolutely have no idea what was a bubbling seat
I have a RX350h since July 2023 trim ultra-luxe(Canadian) is one trim below the top of the line, and after reading your post decide to go and do a check on these seats. (Interior color all black)
Bang in my face. I have a bubbling seat on the driver side.
i have an appointment with my Lexus dealer on mid may, so will see what gonna be the after sale service.
Not easy to post a message but sometimes it’s really helpful for others like me
I noticed my 24/350h seat bubbles when I get out of my seat. The bubble size is pending how long I’m sitting in the seat and goes away on it’s own. I’m sorry to hear your replacement didn’t solve the issue, it must be more common than we know. I’m going to have the dealer look at it when I pick up my second key.

Interesting, I wonder if it is a leather stretching issue or an issue with the seat foam. When it bubbles is the leather acting like it is held up with air, or do you feel the foam support underneath?

I am definitely having this problem also, only drivers side so far not many passengers other than the car seat in the back. Mine is definitely an empty air bubble underneath, if I continue to press I then feel the cushion. I also have birch interior
The seat swells up about ½ inch exactly like Grudo described, it’s an air bubble. As the leather softens from use it’s not going to look pretty. I wonder how long the warrantee on an issue like this is applicable. I have the Palomino interior.
OP, are you saying the bubbles are in the UltraSuede microfiber insert and not the leather?
Not OP but I don't have any suede, mine is premium+ trim which I believe is leather but someone can correct me. The affected area is the middle of the three seat "panels" right under where your *** makes contact, just like in the photos
To answer on the climate control, at least in my case, I have been using the heated seat fairly consistently since purchase but the car also has less than 400 miles on it
My '17 RX350 has heated and ventilated front seats, no bubbling after 7+ years (using both the heat and cool/ventilate functions). Lexus shouldn't get a "pass" on something like this - they should fix/replace as appropriate.
When you have a car with ventilated seats, you are essentially sitting on an air bladder.
That's not how they work at all and I'm not sure your point regardless. If it weren't a problem, I don't think OP's dealer would have replaced it once already.
I know this is not isolated to my car because when they offered me a rental during replacement of the seat cover, the rental car also has the same issue.
Rarely use heating/cooling seat function, symptom was there at the very beginning. Attached the video file, should give a better sense of the issue.
here is the picture taken on the rental with less than 100 mile on it, it was a 2024 model. seat cover from rental
Due to the air pocket, the foam and heat/cool system would not cause this IMO.
It would be good if Lexus swapped the entire seat out and sent to them for analysis. But that would make too much sense. Most likely they will hope most won’t notice or complain.
Wondering if it only happens for Premium+ trim, leather seats. Premium and Luxury have different seat cover materials, Nuluxe and Semi-aniline, does anyone have "bubbling"?
