So I have read here and some other sites discussing the hood issue.
below is a YouTube channel of a guy who took delivery a few days ago and has the same issue.
I wanted to start a thread for people to share their stories.
for such an expensive vehicle, this is completely unacceptable.

Had that issue with my gen1 NX. Very flimsy hood. Really noticed the issue when washing the car. I felt like I was going to dent the hood.
Sad for a vehicle in an expensive price range but all of the new Lexus vehicles are being cheapened up considerably due to weight reduction efforts. I noticed several things on my 2024 RX350H where corners were cut.
If the GX is flopping that much, you will most likely realize a lack of structural support under the hood most likely due to weight reduction. An aluminum hood flexing is quite common. Perhaps more noticeable on some cars than others. The GX is more of a box and less aerodynamic which may exacerbate the issue.
You may want to check under the hood. There may be front adjusters that can be adjusted upward to ensure the hood is actually closed securely.
Here is a good thread from 2019.

You started this thread to hear hood stories after watching the YouTube video of someone else? That channel should thank you for the extra views 😆

so what will they do to "fix" the issue? they're not going to be replacing the hoods on vehicles already built...

That's pathetic, for both of these.
My 200 goes down the highway nearly silently even near triple digit speeds and the hood doesn't flutter.
Lexus should recall and fix all of this, I don't even have words for how ridiculous that is.

agree, also long-term the adhesive used to fix the hood to the underside frame most likely will come loose with excessive vibration. Someone mentioned having to reglue their hood on another thread.

Haven't put much miles on yet but I've noticed very little hood wobbling on highway. Had 30MPH sustain winds the other day and heading directly into it I had very slight hood wobble.

Did a 200 mile round trip the last weekend in the new GX and very little hood wobble. Is it there at times, yes. But nothing that would scare me away unless some are worse than others. It is a massive hood and shockingly long the first time you drive one.
