Drove down to the Dublin Tesla showroom, about 20 miles from my office. Totally worth it! Didn't get to drive it, so I'll save the full review when I get to take it out and put it through it's proper paces, but all I can say is, Amazing seats . Plenty of room, extremely comfortable, modern airy cabin. And this thing looks positively amazing in person! Can't wait until next year......
Screen functions were disabled, so couldn't play around with it. For $54k, there is nothing that comes close this, IMHO
Agree on your points. Now ya know why wifey said, "Go ahead. Go for it." Delivery scheduled for July. I will probably turn in our 2018 Mid Range, which is perfect. 22K miles.

which car would you be replacing to get the 3P? or you are you adding another to catch up with Jay Leno?
Hehe I wish . The Model 3P will replace the Polestar when it's lease ends in Jan. BTW, continuing the conversation with my wife, and my daughter decided to weigh in....

first thing i noticed, compared to the non-performance new model 3, is the front bumper is a lot different. specifically, no side slots on non-perf and more elaborate lip spoiler on perf.

non-perf:
at rear the perf has more elaborate diffuser / low spoiler.
perf:
non-perf:
interior on both is nice in terms of materials/design, but i still hate having only a center screen (yeah, you can get used to it, i know, doesn't mean i have to or will like it).
i really don't get having the back screen even on the cheapest model 3. i guarantee it's hardly EVER used. maybe because musk has a dozen kids he wanted it.
is the red ambient lighting on full blast on this pic?

Yes, those are full blast. Also, big giant brakes, the slots you noted are for cooling the brakes. Last thing.... bigger tires in the back as the tires are staggered

When I get it, probably will never take it out on the track, but I definitely will on the Twisties. We have some nice canyon roads both here in NorCal and SoCal that will give you a run for the money
