Unhappy 18 350 - Low Oil PRESSURE flashes for a split second on a cold start only - PLS HELP!

Bought a 18 350 with 44k miles in February. Car was MINT, no issues in service history.

At around 46k miles I started getting a "Low Oil Pressure" warning flashing when cold starting after the car sat for at least a few hours. Immediately went away in a split second, doesn't come back on until the next cold start.

Took it to the dealer and they found:

1. A crushed oil filter and a bit of shavings in the Oil Filter Housing. Nothing visible in the oil itself, just in the filter HOUSING and a few specks in the filter itself.
2. Oil level was at exactly the right level (drained into a measuring bucket)
3. Changing the oil got rid of the message on startup

So we figured the crushed filter caused the message and I was on pins & needles for the next couple of months while I put a few more thousand miles on and checked for more shavings.

47k service found 90% less shavings in oil filter housing and no recurrence of Low Oil Pressure light at startup. Yay!

BlackStone Labs analysis of 46k and 47k oils found absolutely nothing abnormal and got a "Looks good to us, we expect there be virtually no metal in the next oil change"

48.5k service found NO shavings in oil filter housing, just as BlackStone predicted, and no recurrence of Low Oil Pressure light at startup. Yay!!

At this point I'm about 3 months into this ordeal and finally feeling pretty good about it all. Until tonight.

Car sat for around 60 hours because I'm sick. It's at 50.5k miles and just flashed the low oil pressure for a fraction of a second on this cold start. Now I'm panicking again

Could this be normal behavior on startup after sitting for 2.5 days? I was just getting ready to do one more early oil change to confirm there's still no shavings, and I assume this will again resolve the issue. What could be going on to cause it to start flashing this Low Oil Pressure message on cold starts with around 2k miles on the oil?

Attached video is not my car, I took it from another thread. But it is exactly what I'm experiencing. The other thread said it was caused by a dying battery, but I don't know about that. Also attached is the crushed oil filter from the initial oil change that set all this off.

Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Think you’re worrying too much. These cars use very thin oil, so it drains down into the sump when the car sits for awhile. Takes some time (that fraction of a second) to get it pumped back up into the rest of the engine and pressure established.

Hi, does this happen only on your usual parking spot?
Maybe the car is not sitting flat with Earth, but is parked on a slope?
That could add to this delay until the oil is pumped up into the rest of the engine.

TI have a 2019 and the sitting for 60 hours should have absolutely no factor in the equation. Mine sits for 2 weeks at a time and sometimes 16-17 days just in the garage (I use a trickle charger to keep the battery charged). All that said, I think its like others have stated, nothing to really worry about. But maybe check the filter again?

My 2017 RX OEM battery failed all of a sudden after 6 years and did not give me any warning signs. My advice is to buy the battery and replace it yourself. Most of the non-OEM batteries are crap quality and will die after 3 years, so find the cheapest one with 3 year warranty.

I replaced battery myself and procedure was no different than changing the battery on 2013 Honda Civic. Mine was disconnected for 30+ minutes, and everything's been working great so far since 1 year I replaced it.
