Default Ordering a new 2024 ES350

Does anyone know if you can still order a new 2024 ES350. If you can how long till they still stop taking orders on 2024 model year.

Does Lexus even accept custom orders on an ES? If you know the exact model you want, have you asked a dealer to find one for you?

Wonder if you can actually order a 2024 350 ES FSport Design. They’re supposedly made but I don’t think I ever saw even one in a dealer’s on-line inventory.

I don't believe Lexus builds to order, at least in the USA. If you use the Lexus build app I'm sure the real purpose is for you to send your request to a dealer who will then survey all available stock and try to find you a best match. That match might include some dealer installed options.

Lexus does take orders, probably too late for a 2024 though. Call a dealership and ask. They should know.

I see quite a few at Massachusetts dealers. Seemed for a while after Covid, it was tough to find anything but base models, and Lexus wasn’t taking orders. Now I see a fair amount of luxury, ultra luxury, and F sports in local inventories.

I told my Lexus salesperson what I wanted last December and they went 800 miles and back to get it.

Dealers can absolutely order ES's. It all depends on their allocated amount since they have limits. Being June however I am pretty much sure orders can no longer be placed at all.

My salesman says two to three months for delivery of custom ordered car. No later than May 2024 for a 2024 model.
incidentally, his information is that 2025 will be same as 2024 model with only a few very minor tweaks.

I was just at Lexus dealership yesterday and asked that question. NO you can not order any car. I'm thinking then why does Lexus have a "Build Your Car" feature? I guess so they can send you to the dealer who has your closest match.
Also my Grapevine, Texas dealer said they can not bring in a car from another lot, even if owner of there lot. He did say you can check cars "In Transit" from one other lot they own in Plano, Texas and can get a in transit car only.

That dealership should have provided you with proper information. You CAN order, but only within a certain time frame. Right now it is past that window. All manufacturers have time frames for the year. It also depends on dealer allocation on how many orders can actually be submitted.

If you search my username along with the keywords "special order" and/or "allocations," you'll find extensive information, including my contracts, order documents, and special order forms – detailed information not commonly seen by customers. There's also a comprehensive guide on dealer inventory, allocations, and the special ordering process. This includes details on my own true special order, 22 UL, completed at the end of 2021, which I ordered in August (before Lexus restricted customer orders) and was delivered in January 2022.

I was told last November that "Build your Car" attempts to match your preference with future allocations and you really could not truly "custom order" a Lexus.
But lots of Lexus Dealer websites currently indicate you really can tweak your car down to the atomic level, or maybe the websites are not current?
What's your bargaining power for a true custom order?

That's odd, when I click on my original "Custom Order" link in Post #13 it works
Here it is again with the full URL:
