I just noticed that a small cutout piece in my front bumper fell out. It's the shape of a trapezoid and only a couple inches wide. It sits below the light assembly and it looks like there may be some type of sensor in there. I don't see any damage on the car, so I don't think I was hit. Also, the cutout seems clean like maybe this "sensor cover" (or whatever it is), just popped out. Not positive that it's a sensor, but I don't think there's damage as I've not seen any messages pop up.
Anyone know what this is, as I've googled everything and even looked in my owners manual??? Thanks.
It's a cover for the headlight washer. The part number should be 8535324040b1. This is supposedly the part number for a atomic silver passenger side cover, but I would double check with the seller. I would buy from parts.belllexusnorthscottsdale since they offer free shipping.
Thanks @Jason712 . I didn't even realize my car had headlamp cleaners. The part number was perfect and it just arrived. Any idea where I can find instructions to install. It's some fragile plastic and I don't want to break it.
