Cool GSF Wheels on GS350 F Sport RWD - Tire Size

Hi, i just installed GSF wheels on my GS350 RWD
Color is Hyper Charcoal which is nice!

OEM wheels are
Front: 19x8 ET 45 235/40/19
Rear 19x9 ET 45 265/35/19

These GSF BBS wheels are
Front 19x9 ET 50
Rear 19x10 ET 41

And my current tires are
235/40/19 Front
275/35/19 Rear

im looking to change my front tires
i know that GSF has 255/35/19 at the front but it will decrease the sidewall for 5%

so i was thinking of 245/40/19 which will increase the sidewall by 5%.

So anybody has experience with GSF wheels on GS350? what tire sizes do you have?

I run the RC F wheels. Same spec wheels as the GS F wheels. I have 245/45/19 front and 285/35/19 rear.

245/45/19 front on your set up will work fine

Same ET ?

245/45/19 will be 5% larger in diameter vs OEM size
it will affect speedometer and ABS

are you sure you are not talking about 245/40/19?

ET? You mean offset?

They are BBS Wheels also, I think they were lighter than the GS F ones if I recall correctly:
Specs are also:
Front 19x9 Offset 50
Rear 19x10 Offset 41

I also have a slightly from Spec modified back lift drop of Swift lowering Springs.

Offset is stamped on the wheel as a ET value which refers to the German phrase "Einpress Tiefe" ET usually expressed in millimeters.

Yes I already knew this, but I am in the US, not Germany, where we normally call it wheel offset.

No, i changed rear struts to KYB and car height went up mysteriously (if you search so many people have this issue), then i just cut the rear spring by 1 round only to level the front

and finally i changed my front Tires from Continental 235/40/19 to 245/40/19 Michelin Pilot Sport 5 (like rear) and fortunately there is no issue

here are some before and after photos

UPDATE: I just installed General Gmax RS tires. Front: 245/40 19 Rear 275/35 19. The front fit great with 10mm spacers. Upsizing from 235’s looks better… The car also handles better but that’s to be expected with new tires. Even though General GMax are made by Continental, I might go back to Continentals when these wear out in a year or two. At least with Continentals they can be rotated side to side.

jgscott, do you have wheel spacers up front? I have GSF wheels on my GS350 base model with 10mm spacers and want to increase my front tire size. I currently have 235/40 19's like OP and I am looking at purchasing 245/40 19. Do you think they will fit with the 10mm wheel spacers?
