Check left side trunk wheel well for moisture. That is where fuse block is there and can cause any kind of problem. Also eject dvd and reinsert.

I just found out yesterday , there was water in my navigation unit , I did pull it out and opened the screws and blow dried the green chip inside and kept in sun light , I will put it back today and see if it works , also the water is leaking from trunk side or tail light , not sure how will I fix it , I might just use a sealant to re-seal trunk lines and tail light , any suggestions ?

This responds to Item #1:
A) “External System Not Connected “
I replaced the Nav unit/CD reader
which is located in trunk floor
right side. Apparently, the unit
became defective with age.
Then nav worked fine.
B) Corner taillight has a neoprene
type gasket, which may be source
of leak. Remove interior corner
trim. Tail light fixture is secured by
Two or three nuts - are they loose?
Unscrew nuts to & slide the fixture
rearward to check the
gasket’s condition.
Hope this info helps. Good Luck.

It is good that you found the water, but that is not your bigger problem.
The problem is the solder connections on the back of the NAV unit, first years of no-lead solder.
If you Google "LS430 External System Not Connected", you will get 5+ threads here on clublexus on the issue. I had my NAV unit shipped off to California to have re-soldering done, and it is detailed in one of those threads.

I removed the tail light and found there was dirt and no gasket there I cleaned all dirt and applied Silicone and sealed the TAIL LIGHT from the small place in middle where it makes a ovule shaped when it dried I threw water and it was not leaking - LEAK FIXED
2) I Opened the navigation DVD unit and kept in sunlight blow dried some air and it got dry too and I connected in last night it worked very well butt this morning when I started the car its not giving me any error but the navigation screen is blank and reverse camera is also not working now again ............................... I did the diagnosis auto check and says no connection for reverse camera only now but NAVI doesn't work but i don't see any error like before it showed me not connected

Ankushls430 -
This responds to your post. (#11)
A) You fixed the leak - good!
B) I had similar problems with Nav, etc.,
which were solved by replacing the
original Nav DVD Unit!
So, I suggest you replace the
Nav DVD Unit (Nav Computer))
with a good used one from Ebay.
I do not remember the cost;
but, it is well worth it & not excessive.
It is labeled “86841-50090”
which should be same as the
Unit in your 2005.
Get one made 2005 or later,
because prior dates are said
to have deteriorated solder.
Get one that you can return,
- if necessary.
Thoroughly dry out the trunk!
I think this will solve your Nav, etc
problems!
Good luck! Let us know how you do!
