Kept getting this annoying message about the front pre-collision sensors. If you turn the vehicle off and back on it disappears for anywhere from 1 to 24 hours,
Shows up at least daily and sometimes multiple times a day.
Dealer says they contacted Lexus and it's a software glitch, being investigated. Their recommendation is to turn off the Auto Stop/Start feature but that only helps a little. Since it's not a safety feature (according to Lexus), no recall.

I’ve had that come up when bugs are splattered on the sensors up front.

Mine needed a new battery when I got this error. apparently it had a bad cell.....

I have had this when driving the car though crazy winter weather and the front looks like it was dipped in icing with freezing rain, snow, and road spray. once it defrosted everything worked like normal.

cars these days do all sorts of strange things when the voltage is low in a car. all types of systems will go out of whack. totally normal and glad it was just a new battery that solved it. coming from a lot of german car ownership experiences, I highly recommend people test the battery in a car when lots of electronic gremlins suddenly show up. usually it is a bad battery/alternator or a combination of the two of those...
