Default AC Clutch Not engaging

the AC clutch on my 2001 gs430 engages for a good 1-5 minutes on start then stops, it blows cold air in the first 1-5 minutes but then does not.

Checked fuses and fuse boxes nothing is out and swapped the a/c fuse with a working one and did not work either, any ideas?

Please list everything you changed on your system.
Also list step by step how you vacuumed and recharged the AC, such as what side you pulled from (Hi or Low), which side you recharged (Hi or Low), if you used an AC gauge to monitor pressures, if you weighed the refrigerant can to add the correct weight, what type of refrigerant you used, did you add refrigerant with the engine running, or off, etc.

This shouldnt be the issue I had it done at the lexus dealership, was most likely not the issue. I can't figure it out but if you think its the issue how would I test this?

you just had the system evacuated and then filled? Did you just replace the compressor? Or the refrigerant leaked out so you had it evac'd and then filled? I am assuming if you had the dealer do that, there must have been some work done? Please explain what your initial issue was? What work you did, components you replaced? Did it work when you got it back from the dealer?

The a/c enagages and is cold while on cold start for 3-5 minutes but then the clutch does not engage and it doesnt come out cold. I assume its not the refrigerant but something else causing a problem. I also get not a/c codes that pop up either so i have no clue whats stopping it

Had something similar happen after a pump and dryer replacement on a Camry. They used the machine to pull out the refrigerant and recharged it again. Never had a problem again.
