I saw a 2011 ES 350 with 202,560 miles. It's about 4 hours from where I am. The seller is asking for $6,800 cash only. Is it worth buying? When seller/dealer asks for cash only, I'm quite uneasy.

You will want to ask this in the 5th gen sub-forum most likely.
As a point, it’s a big difference between a private party sale and dealer sale wrt price. From a dealer, that might be a fair price now. You can used edmunds.com to get various valuations on it.

Here’s a little story about being a seller.
Back in 2004 I sold my Miata. I bought it new and never once drove it in the rain, sat outside other than road trips and even then a car cover would go on.
I changed jobs and had to move so I was selling the car. This older gentleman came and looked at it and brought prices from KBB and others and said I was $2k too high and demanded I lower my price. I said no and told him to go look at the condition of those.
Long story short, 2 months goes by and I get a call from this gentleman and he wanted to buy it for what I was asking. He asked if I would take a cashiers check. I said sure thinking they were safe.
It was drawn from BOA and I banked with them also. So I go to the bank and go to deposit it, to find out it had been canceled. When talking with the teller, she told me that a cashier check only means cash was available at the time the check was produced. You can walk out the door, call the bank and cancel the check.
Luckily I collected the buyer’s information for our states sellers report and the guy didn’t lie about it. So I drive to his house and he just got home with the car. When confronted about the bad check he said since it was Saturday, he didn’t think I would go to the bank that day. He was thinking he could drive the car for the weekend and if he didn’t like it, just return the car back to me Sunday afternoon. WTF!!!
I gave him 2 options, get in my car and we are going to the bank OR I’m calling the police for check fraud.
So for me, it’s always cash or will meet at the bank.
